A beautiful spring day for this hike led by Renee Martin. A large group - 27 people - departed from Covert Farm south-west of McIntyre Bluff. About three-quarters of the way to the bluff we detoured north and down the the saddle to the east side of Mt. Keogan, enjoying a 'host of golden balsam root' along the way. A descent of a few hundred feet took us to the site of native pictographs beneath an overhanging rock ledge. After a short break we climbed back up and continued on to the bluff itself, where lunch, and a view south to Oliver, were enjoyed before beginning our return trip.
