This hike was led by one of our newer members, David Smyth, who had done a lot of work (with a crew of helpers) cleaning up the trail in mid-week. The clean-up crew had also built a crossing over the creek that exits Yellow Lake, which was running high after recent rains. We were fortunate that the rain held off for the duration. Rafts of Shrubby Penstemon seen at the summit were a highlight of the trip.
