Nine people (again), led by Margaretha, enjoyed beautiful warm weather. Victoria Creek (the outflow from Madden Lake) was too full to cross and a lot of the trail from there was covered in water: maybe better to do this hike a little later in future years. Lots of buttercups, spring beauty, yellow bells and bluebells on the way down.
