This hike, led by Joan Agnew, explored the bike trails above Carmi and to the north of the road. The woods here were full of Fairyslipper orchids in bloom. After emerging from the woods we stopped for lunch on the edge of Carmi Canyon before following the canyon trail west to return to the trailhead (at the parking lot where the road paving ends).
