This was a (mainly) gentle 2,600 ft climb up a valley starting behind the Discovery Centre at the top of Rogers Pass. Avalanche paths and shrubby new growth gave way to pretty alpine meadows and flowers. From the top we had views back across the highway towards our Perly Rock and Glacier Crest hike destinations, as well as a close-up view of Mt. Cheops.
