Jerry led this hike and there were six of us altogether. The sky was bluer than we had seen since September and the ground and plants were covered in a frozen layer of 'sticky' white snow. The hike started from Covert Farm and followed the trail to McIntyre Bluff until reaching Rattlesnake Pond. From there we climbed to the high point of the shoulder on the south east side of Keogan until we reached a steep grassy eastern slope that enabled us (despite the snow underfoot) to clamber up to the southernmost peak of Keogan itself. Bighorn sheep looked down on us as we climbed. Up in two hours, back in one-and-a-quarter, and a very enjoyable trip.
