Nov 17: hike - Three Blind Mice North

A damp and gloomy day for this hike led by Nick.  But we were lucky enough to escape with just a 10 minute shower, while our highest point, about 1000 metres, was just below the cloud level.  This hike was all about the beautiful Ponderosa trees that lined much of our route.  One in particular, previously measured at 13 feet 10 inches circumference, captured the crown as the largest Ponderosa we have yet found during our valley hikes.  Some of the fir trees were almost as large.
