Josianne Rovinelli led a group of thirteen on a lengthy (18 km) hike through the grasslands south of Richler Pass. Starting between Kilpoola and Blue lakes, the hike followed a circle route apart from a final spur off to a ridge for a lunch-time view down to the Nighthawk border post with the full north face of Chopaka / Hurley asa back-drop. Sunny on the way out, cloudy return.
