Brad's first ski for one whole year: fortunately it went well, and snow conditions were great. Unfortunately lighting was iffy, and distant landscapes were obscured by an incoming storm. On the return there was a heavy snowfall. There were eight of us. We skied directly south on the western slopes of Beaconsfield and Apex Mountains. There were several clear-cuts just put in last summer. These afforded extensive new views to the south and west, so clear-cuts are not all bad.
